Editorial Policy

Transparency is at the core of everything we do. Here's how we create, review, and maintain the health information on HealthFlint.

Content Creation Process

1

Research

Our writers research topics using peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and recognized medical organizations (WHO, CDC, NIH).

2

Writing

Articles are written by health professionals using plain language, following our evidence grading system.

3

Medical Review

Every article is reviewed by a board-certified physician who verifies accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance.

4

Publication

Articles are published with full source citations, author and reviewer attribution, and evidence grades.

5

Ongoing Review

All articles are re-reviewed every 6–12 months and updated when new evidence emerges.

Evidence Grading System

We rate the strength of evidence behind health claims to help readers assess reliability:

Strong

Meta-analyses, large RCTs, or systematic reviews

Moderate

Smaller RCTs, strong cohort studies

Limited

Case-control studies, observational data

Emerging

Preliminary findings, expert opinion

Corrections Policy

If we discover an error, we correct it promptly and note the correction at the top of the article. If you believe you've found an error, please contact us.

Advertising Policy

HealthFlint maintains a strict separation between editorial content and advertising. Advertisers never influence our editorial decisions, content recommendations, or evidence grading. All advertisements are clearly labeled.
